Why I play roller derby: I play roller derby because I love the camaraderie and support that comes with being on a team, I love the sport — complicated rules and everything, and I love being able to push my body to do hard things and being able to accomplish and succeed in that.
Favorite derby memory: The first time I got lead jammer in a bout and the first time I passed my 27/5 it felt like all my hard work and time at practice was worth it and I was finally improving.
