Why I play roller derby: I grew up skating around town with my doggo. So when I heard that there was a full contact sport involving roller skates I was SOLD! The sportsmanship and friendships made is the cherry on top. BONUS: It’s the one sport where I feel superhuman and untouchable.
Favorite derby memory: Jumping the apex in a game and knocking down the unmovable blocker.
